Nest Boxes

Project Type

Photography

Date

April 2023

Without nest boxes, the population of bluebirds would likely be very small. Habitat loss, including the expansion of towns and other types of development, negatively impacts not only bluebirds but also other wildlife. Bluebirds need cavities in which to raise their young, and without trees and other natural sources of nesting sites, nest boxes created and installed by people provides what bluebirds need.
